Siliguri End Smile is dedicated o the service of the unfortunate and the first day of the year is no exception. We reached out to more than 200 people, mostly children and handed them over some winter clothing to tackle the bitter cold and have a better chance at survival during these chilly winters. The recipients are mainly young children and students who belong to the weaker section of the society and have minimal or no access to proper clothing or sometimes food. These students belonging to Chaturagachh Jorpakri area, P.O Sahudangihat are really in need of basic necessities of life and welfare. People from this locality and around were informed about this activity and people have flocked with their families and friends. We feel proud to state that we have been ale to provide winter tops and bottoms to all children present ranging from age 1 month to adulthood and have turned no person down. Some people even availed multiple sets of clothing. A local Madrasa students who are orphaned and have no body to take care of have also attended and availed the services by our organization. It is a humble request to all patrons to donate us their used clothes which might not be of any use to them but could provide warmth to some in dire need.
